Sunday Longings

"A white-tailed deer drinks from the creek; I want to drink God, deep draughts of God. I'm thirsty for God-alive. I wonder, "Will I ever make it— arrive and drink in God's presence?" - Psalm 42:1-2 The Message

Here's hoping that your Sunday is full of you finding that God-alive. Like the deer looking for water, He is our refreshment. He is the creator of all things... and He is where we can find Him. Aren't you glad?

  1. He does fill, sustain, and refresh, doesn't He? What a neat sighting in your photo!

May the families and friends of the shooting know continued strength and love. In Jesus' name, Amen!

  5. YES! I've been wearing a t-shirt with a deer, stream, and that verse for about 22 years. That might indicate to you that the shirt ain't in good condition. That's very correct... but I can't toss it away. I love it and the message just too much to allow that to happen. Thanks for sharing.
